Dr. Wazida Tabassum attended college at the University of Bridgeport, majoring in Biology, then continued to study for a Doctor of Chiropractic at UBCC. Dr. Tabassum completed her clinical rotations at Pain and Spine Center/ East Hartford Medical Center CT and at Maplegate Rehab in Springfield, Massachusetts. She completed her Doctor of Chiropractic degree with the highest achievement of Suma Cumma Lada at UBCC. As her journey began in treating musculoskeletal conditions and pain she added acupuncture certification to help her patients.

Dr. Tabassum specializes in preventative care and acute and chronic conditions, including treating musculoskeletal diseases, conditions, pain, and injury. She can perform Chiropractic manipulative therapy, joint mobilization, PIR/PFS, EMS, US, Laser, and acupuncture treatments. She treats a wide range of patients, starting as young as five and up, and speaks Hindi, Urdu, Bengali, and Madwadi fluently.

Dr. Tabassum prides herself on providing the best care and always making the extra effort to ensure the patient’s concerns have been addressed.  She is easy-going and compassionate.  When not tending to be patient, she enjoys playing chess, listening to music, dancing, and traveling.  Her other passion, beyond providing chiropractic care, is working as an RN. She is in the process of completing her Family Nurse Practitioner education to expand her horizon in delivering primary care services to her patients
